Weekend Adventures

On Thursday our family headed out of town once again. We left the rain of St. George and headed up to Utah County. I thought that we would be in snow the whole way, but other than Fillmore we saw only rain. When we got to Springville Ellie enjoyed playing the piano, a dinner at La Casita, a trip to the mall, and an early bedtime.
Friday Brady had to pick up and deliver some equipment to a few buildings in Bountiful and Salt Lake. Hailey was on Spring Break so she came with us and Ellie loved having a friend in the backseat. During the deliveries we shopped at the Gateway and lunched at Tucano's. Then we stopped at IKEA for some new kitchen items for the trailer. Lastly we stopped at the Grandma & Grandpa's where Ellie took a much needed nap and had Chinese food for dinner. We got to see some great pics of their recent trip to Nauvoo and St. Louis. It was nice to spend some time visiting and just relaxing.
Saturday was a busy day, I got up and had my niece Chelcie color my hair. I love the way it turned out and she did a fabulous job. Then we headed up to Orem to set up for Jessica's wedding shower. It was so nice to see all the family. Ellie was a little grumpy, until she found the water and ice container. Then she was in heaven:)
Saturday night we headed back up to Murray for a surprise wedding reception for Brady's cousin Monica. They had it at an ice skating rink, so Brady couldn't resist taking Ellie out on the ice. At first she wanted nothing to do with the skates, but once everyone else was doing it she let me put on the skates. Once out on the ice she was laughing and giggling up a storm loving every minute of it.We sure had a great time up North, but we are also glad that we get to stay home and not travel for the next few months!!
