The Easter Bunny Visits our House

Our Easter festivities didn't really start until later Saturday night. Brady wasn't to sure about dyeing the eggs with Ellie, but I was determined to include her, even if it was hectic. She wanted to throw the eggs and she did crack one before we even started to dye. Then she was all over the cups so Brady dyed the majority at the counter while Ellie and I handled one egg at a time. Ellie seemed pretty amazed at the whole process and enjoyed playing with the stickers. We put Ellie to bed pretty early so that she would be ready for the Easter Bunny the next morning.Sunday morning Ellie woke up early and cheerful. Her Dad met her at the end of the hall with her bucket. Ellie quickly got the hang of looking for the eggs, until she spotted the Easter baskets. She sat down and started playing with her puzzles and then she saw TOY STORY. Well, the rest of the egg hunt she carried the DVD's in her hand. We found all the eggs and enjoyed a movie before getting ready for church.Ellie looked adorable in her new church dress from her Grandma Haycock and then she was so good at church today I was so proud of her. She didn't make it to nursery because of a runny nose. However, she then took a 4 hour nap this afternoon!! We enjoyed a turkey dinner and lots of chocolate!! This is what Ellie looks like after a chocolate egg and plenty of kisses:)

You and Ellie look like twins sitting at the table dying easter eggs. I didn't even attempt that with Ryker, he got plastic eggs filled with choclate so he was a happy boy! I'm glad you were surprised by your shower - now all that baby needs is a name!

Ellie is so cute:) We did a hunt, but didn't dye eggs. My kids all hate hard boiled eggs. I hoping they grow out of it, because Dave and I love them. We just don't want to eat them all ourselves.

Happy Easter. I'm glad Kellie had a shower for you. It's hard to start over buying all new stuff for the second baby.
