Happy Birthday!!!

For the last 26 days I have been married to a YOUNGER man, but that all changed today!! Brady turned the big 3-0 today! I am so lucky to be married to such a great man and super Dad!
Here are a few things that I love about Brady...
* The fact that during the fall we plan every Saturday around BYU football

* He doesn't mind having cereal for a dinner at least once a week
* He is a pretty good listener
* He plans wonderful vacations
* Dragging himself out of bed to go to the gym in the morning and waking me to tell me he is leaving
* Feeding Ellie her bottle every night
* Working so hard to support his family
* Knowing more about things then I give him credit
for
* His love of The Office
* Watching stupid reality TV shows with me
* Cleaning the house on special occasion like my birthday and mother's day!
* Playing and being goofy with Ellie
* Liking our monthly Bunko trip, so he can get some
work done
* Did I mention his love of BYU football

* Watching any football and knowing all the ex-BYU players
* Making it to the finals in fantasy baseball
* Spending all day at Fenway Park and loving every minute
* I am sure the list could go on and on but....
We love you and hope you have a GREAT day!!

Revently, Not Quietly

So on Sunday during the 3rd hour of church Brady took Ellie so that I could play the piano in RS without having to worry. Apparently Brady was chatting in the hall with a friend and Ellie walked down the hall and around the corner. He thought she hadn't gone far, but when he went to find her, she was GONE! He looked all over the church and out in the parking lot, the only other place she could have been was in the chapel. So he stood by the door and looked for someone that had picked her up, he could hear her, but couldn't see her. When he finally did spot the munchkin she was on the stand by the organ yelling, screaming and having a grand old time. As he debated what to do, and saw the confusion on the Bishop's face, the speaker commented on how great & fun children are. In our chapel there is a door that opens to the stand, so Brady walked on the stand and grabbed her while the congregation let out a little laugh and the speaker remarked on the "joys" of children. So yes, Kellie Prisbrey that was my daughter!!!

Rise & Shout...

Last weekend our family headed up to Orem to visit Brady's family and go to "THE GAME." On Friday, Brady got up early and went 4 wheelin with his Dad up the canyon. Ellie and I headed up to the Gateway for a little shopping trip with Jessica. After helping the economy out with some serious spending we headed back down to pick up Brady and head into Provo. Brady's boss had wanted some Quest t-shirts and we needed to pick up our tickets for "the game" so we headed to the BYU bookstore. When we got their I could not believe how enormous it was, you could probably find anything you wanted and then get lost trying to find your way out! After buying new shirts for the game (yes, I bought a BYU shirt, hey, anytime Brady offers new clothes I take him up on it) we headed to the Admin building to visit Brady's Aunt Javan. She works for the philanthropy office and got us the BEST tickets. After a quick visit and a few more gifts (Ellie got a little BYU cheerleader bear that she LOVES) we headed home. That night we meet up with our friends the Tuttles for dinner and shopping. We had so much fun!

Saturday morning we got up early and went go
lfing with the whole family. The last 4 holes were way fun, once the sun came up and the wind died down. The first 5 were so freezing I thought I was back in Cedar during the winter!! Then it was time to head to head into Cougar Town. We got to the game early and were lucky enough to go to the Donor Luncheon. IT was so fun, we met the President of BYU and his wife, along with the founder of Costco, and, of course, Cosmo. Thanks again Javan, it was so nice of you to invite us and for the awesome tickets. After listening to the band and cheerleaders we headed over to the game. On our way we saw our friends, the Laws. It was so unexpected, but nice to see them for a minute. Then we headed to our seats. We had chair seats of the 45 yd. line 30 rows up. The view was fantastic and so was the crowd. We sat next to #21, Scott Johnson's family. The game was so exciting and we had a great time watching and singing the fight song over and over and over. I had never been to a game that exciting since Rebel basketball in the 90's!! For those of you that know I love UNLV basketball, Brady and I made a deal, I would cheer for BYU football, if he cheered for UNLV basketball!! So far its worked out pretty well.
After the game we went down to pick up Ellie at her Aunt Holly's. She also had a great afternoon filled with Toys R Us, the park, horses, Baby Einstein, and playing with Moab the cat.

The rest of our trip was spent hanging out with family and having a late birthday for me and an early one for Brady. Thanks for all the babysitting this weekend we sure appreciated everything.

Case of the Missing Bracelet

Ellie got the cutest new bracelet from her Aunt Toni for her bithday, well, it was a little big so I didn't put it on until a couple of weeks ago. On Sunday, I was getting Ellie ready and noticed that the bracelet was GONE! I couldn't remember the last time that I had seen it, except last weekend at the cabin. Well, I have been looking for it in all the usual hiding spots. The toy box, the closets, kitchen drawers, under the bathroom sink, in her bed!!
Well today I went to get Ellie from her nap and what is she hanging from her hand!! THE BRACELET!!! Yea! We were so excited to find it, I guess I will have to wait a few more weeks for her wrists to get a little chunkier before it goes back on! THanks Toni for all the cute bracelets we LOVE them. If you want one check out her website!

Look what she can do

So yesterday morning as I was sitting on the couch watching the Today Show and eating Frosted Flakes I looked over to find Ellie trying to get her leg over the toy chest. Well, it didn't take to long to get that leg in and then hoist the rest of herself in too! She sat and played in there for the next 30 minutes or so, throwing out all the toys that were inside with her to the ground. Then she stood up and climbed back out.
She is now down to 1 bottle at night. I will fill it up and then she takes it over to her Daddy to feed and snuggle her. Well this is what happened after the bottle was gone. TOO CUTE!!

The Fruits of our Labor!

Last Spring Brady planted a garden in our backyard we planted 4 different things watermelon, peas, cucumber, and carrots. After a few chipmunk incidents and the sweltering sun only one plant survived. We hadn't seen any fruit on the plant until Monday. We went out to check out the garden and here is what we found!

Brady was so excited, the WATERMELON plants are all that survived this year. We don't really know when to pick them, so any advice would be great. Brady thinks we should wait til they look like this!J/K Here are a few pics of Ellie playing outside, she LOVES roaming the backyard.

We're Back

Ellie and I decided to head up to our cabin last Wednesday with my Mom. After stopping to have lunch with my Aunt Char in cedar at the pizza factory, running a few errands, and doing some shopping we finally made it up the mountain. That night Ellie enjoyed some Corn on the Cob for dinner!
The next day we met Kellie and Stephen for lunch in Cedar and bought a new backdoor for the cabin. Ryker and Ellie loved roaming Home Depot and driving the cart around the store. I took some pics on my phone, but can't get them uploaded to the blog. The rest of the weekend was filled with....

Ryker giving the best looks, I wish I could have captured his looking at you from the corner of his eye look

Ryker and Ellie watching Baby Einstein (ryker would get bored pretty quickly and then ellie would get mad that he wanted to play with her and not just watch the movie)Ellie tried out a few new hair styles, the pigtails were cute til she pulled them out...Birthday cake, yes I know, that is a lot of smoke coming off the cake!!And my new camera!! We got a bigger camera for Christmas last year, but it is just to big to carry around all the time, so Brady got me the smallest camera possible to leave in my purse! YEA! I was so excited and can't wait to try it out.

Apparently 30 didn't treat my body well, I went for a 5 mile run Sunday morning at the cabin and I am just starting to feel better. The reason why I am just posting. I some how managed to catch a cold that turned into the flu. Not exactly the way I planned it, but I guess thats what happens when you get OLD!
