Sprinkler Fun

One of Ellie's easter basket gifts was a water toy that hooks up to the hose. Well, after Easter we were gone then Ellie got a runny nose and then it turned cold so we didn't have a chance to use it until this week. Ellie wasn't to sure about running through it, but managed to have fun with the help of her DADDY!!
After we unhooked it, Ellie had a blast running away as her Dad sprayed her with the hose! She was giggling and loved every minute of it!!Here is the only hair shot I have, hopefully this weekend I can take a better one:)

Ice Princess...not quite!

Here is Ellie's first attempt at Ice Skating:)

Weekend Adventures

On Thursday our family headed out of town once again. We left the rain of St. George and headed up to Utah County. I thought that we would be in snow the whole way, but other than Fillmore we saw only rain. When we got to Springville Ellie enjoyed playing the piano, a dinner at La Casita, a trip to the mall, and an early bedtime.
Friday Brady had to pick up and deliver some equipment to a few buildings in Bountiful and Salt Lake. Hailey was on Spring Break so she came with us and Ellie loved having a friend in the backseat. During the deliveries we shopped at the Gateway and lunched at Tucano's. Then we stopped at IKEA for some new kitchen items for the trailer. Lastly we stopped at the Grandma & Grandpa's where Ellie took a much needed nap and had Chinese food for dinner. We got to see some great pics of their recent trip to Nauvoo and St. Louis. It was nice to spend some time visiting and just relaxing.
Saturday was a busy day, I got up and had my niece Chelcie color my hair. I love the way it turned out and she did a fabulous job. Then we headed up to Orem to set up for Jessica's wedding shower. It was so nice to see all the family. Ellie was a little grumpy, until she found the water and ice container. Then she was in heaven:)
Saturday night we headed back up to Murray for a surprise wedding reception for Brady's cousin Monica. They had it at an ice skating rink, so Brady couldn't resist taking Ellie out on the ice. At first she wanted nothing to do with the skates, but once everyone else was doing it she let me put on the skates. Once out on the ice she was laughing and giggling up a storm loving every minute of it.We sure had a great time up North, but we are also glad that we get to stay home and not travel for the next few months!!

Sneak Peek

Yesterday I had an extra ultrasound, the first one showed some irritable bowels and they wanted to check it out again. Luckily, everything showed fine this time and the little guy is finally growing and right on schedule! Since it was so late in the pregnancy the tech did some 3-D pictures of the little guy, he posed pretty well in the pictures so I thought that I would share some.I have to admit I think the pics are a little weird, but something to try once I guess. Plus, here is also a cute little profile pic:)

The Easter Bunny Visits our House

Our Easter festivities didn't really start until later Saturday night. Brady wasn't to sure about dyeing the eggs with Ellie, but I was determined to include her, even if it was hectic. She wanted to throw the eggs and she did crack one before we even started to dye. Then she was all over the cups so Brady dyed the majority at the counter while Ellie and I handled one egg at a time. Ellie seemed pretty amazed at the whole process and enjoyed playing with the stickers. We put Ellie to bed pretty early so that she would be ready for the Easter Bunny the next morning.Sunday morning Ellie woke up early and cheerful. Her Dad met her at the end of the hall with her bucket. Ellie quickly got the hang of looking for the eggs, until she spotted the Easter baskets. She sat down and started playing with her puzzles and then she saw TOY STORY. Well, the rest of the egg hunt she carried the DVD's in her hand. We found all the eggs and enjoyed a movie before getting ready for church.Ellie looked adorable in her new church dress from her Grandma Haycock and then she was so good at church today I was so proud of her. She didn't make it to nursery because of a runny nose. However, she then took a 4 hour nap this afternoon!! We enjoyed a turkey dinner and lots of chocolate!! This is what Ellie looks like after a chocolate egg and plenty of kisses:)

Basketball & BUNKO

Last week was pretty busy at our house. Friday we learned that Brady and I were the last 2 standing in Coral Desert's NCAA bracket competition. Unfortunately, UCONN (my team) lost Saturday and North Carolina (Brady's team) won it all, so Brady was the final Champion. But, lucky for me, Brady still split the earnings with me which was so nice!! Then he had entered a bracket with one of his suppliers for Desert Medical and ended up coming in SECOND place out of like 200 people and won a $500 gift certificate from them. It was kind of exciting and I was very proud of him.

Then Wednesday Ellie and I packed our bags and headed back out on the road. We went down to Vegas for the last time in awhile. Wednesday Kellie was hosting Bunko and I wanted to go since it will be my last game in our group. I just can't handle 2 kids and concentrating on the game at the same time. We have been doing themes this year and Kellie decided NOT to have one this time, well SURPRISE she threw me a baby shower. It was such a nice surprise and so not expected, I got some really cute outfits and a couple blankets which is nice because I am really not prepared for this boy at all. Ellie even got a new dollhouse from her Aunt Shawna and spends many hours playing with it! Here are a few pics of my wonderful gifts. THANKS again everyone:)

A Trip to Cabela's & More

The middle of last week Ellie and I traveled up to Utah County for my nieces hair show. My parents, Kellie, Ryker, and my sister Kim flew into town for the event. It was also Ryker's birthday so we were planning on visiting the Hoogle Zoo, but due to the snow storm that rolled in we were unable to go and decided to visit Cabela's instead. My Dad needed some things and Ellie and Ryker were in heaven there. First we visited the fishes and then all the animals around the store, we even got to feed the fish. The kids even got spoiled my their Grandpa with their own Cabela's camping chairs for the cabin and fishing tackle boxes. Ellie's is already full of lots of little toys and blocks. It was almost as good as the Zoo and a lot warmer!!The rest of the week was spent eating at all our fave spots, a playdate with Carrie & Tricia, a drive past the Draper temple, The Sandy Living Aquarium, the first part of the fashion show (Ellie and Ryker didn't appreciate it so we had to leave early), a visit to Grandma and Grampa Flygare's, Ryker's & Hailey's birthday celebrations, and lots of playing!! We had so much fun and can't wait to go on another trip with the family:)While we were gone Holly & Hailey came down for the Julianne Hough concert. They took Brady along with them and they even got to meet her and take pictures. They all agreed she was wonderful and gorgeous.
